"CLEBURNE COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

Investigators have identified the victims in a triple killing at a Heflin trailer park as the suspect's brothers.

The suspect, identified as Romero Roberto Moya, a 33-year-old man from Heflin, was killed by Oxford police after leading authorities on a vehicle chase through two counties.

The fourth victim in the initial shooting is Moya's infant son, who survived the shooting and is in stable condition at a Georgia hospital, according to Cleburne County Sheriff's Investigator Dennis Green.

The chase began Saturday, Dec. 15 after Heflin police officers responded to a domestic violence call at the Guzman Trailer Park on Highway 9 in Cleburne County.

Officers discovered three gunshot victims at the scene, now identified as Moya's younger brothers, ages 17, 23, and 26 years old. Police got a description of the suspect and gave chase, following Moya for 25 miles into Oxford.

Authorities say Moya then crashed his vehicle, shot and injured Heflin police officer Jackie Stovall, carjacked another vehicle and continued to flee.

The chase ended when Moya crashed into another vehicle on Beck Road and Highway 48. When Moya exited his vehicle, the Oxford Special Response Team shot and killed him.

Jackie Stovall, the police officer who was shot during the chase, is said to be improving from his injury in the hospital. The bullet from the shot his a main artery, but a State Trooper on the scene applied pressure on it until he could be transported to the hospital.
